Green Log Awards

Following an extremely successful premiere in 2008, the non-profit GREEN LOG Homes & Lifestyle Awards has announced the 2009 Call for Entries. The goal of the Green Log Awards is to recognize and shine a spotlight on the remarkable green building solutions which enable us to “Build a Greener World One Home at a Time.”

In that limelight, Green Log Awards would like to thank green bloggers and informational web sites for their meaningful roles in supporting public awareness and promoting public knowledge of the most noteworthy green solutions for a healthier home and lifestyle.

It is because of this important role that Green Log Awards, Inc. is officially inviting bloggers and other informational web sites to nominate their blogs / web sites for the 2009 Green Log Award.  There is no cost to enter or participate – this is Green Log Awards, Inc. way of saying thank you for an ongoing commitment to promoting knowledge and awareness surrounding the green endeavor.  Nominate your blog or web site and become part of this important, three-month public interest campaign  that will garner national attention and also earn a 12-month, 24/7 presence on the GREEN LOG Homes & Lifestyle Awards: http://www.greenlogawards.com/nominations/.

Adopting the “best practices” of Social Media online, Green Log Award, Inc. is seeking to partner with green bloggers and web sites to increase public consciousness about the choices available for designing and building a Green home, and applying Green solutions, methods and technologies in the course of daily living.  As such, Green Log Awards is inviting bloggers / web sites to:

• Announce the awards program and Official Call for Entries (launched January 1, 2009)
• Blog about or announce updates regarding the 2009 Green Log Awards
• Host an innovative polling widget to gather votes and be recognized as a 2009 Official Polling Place (coming soon)
