Green Log Awards

We are excited to announce the winners of the 2009 GREEN LOG Home Awards!  This year has seen a dramatic increase in the public’s desire to find green building solutions for their homes.  We are proud that our contest is able to highlight some of the best solutions in the world.  From water conservation to your kitchen countertops, there are hundreds of ways make your home healthier, more efficient and sustainable.

This year we had 14 categories and over 60 nominees.  The judges found many categories filled with worthy candidates. Determining their overall winner was often difficult.  This is a testament to the quality of nominees we had in 2009.  There can be, however, just one winner in each category. View the winners now! We at the GREEN LOG Awards would like to thank our sponsors, judges, nominees and all of the people who took the time to review our nominees and vote!  Here’s hoping next year is even more successful than 2009!

Although the public voting portion of the 2009 GREEN LOG Home Awards has come to an end, your ability to learn about all of the exciting green building solutions is still here!  When the winners are announce next Thursday, we will celebrate their well-earned honor.  However; it is important to remember that all of the nominees deserve recognition for the part they play in making our homes healthier and more efficient.

The goal of the GLA has always been to shine a spotlight on all innovative green building solutions.  The intent is that if you are seeking a product or service for your home building project, you can utilize this program to help find the solutions that will work best for you and your family.

Voting for the 2009 GREEN LOG Home Awards is open!  Vote in 14 categories ranging from Renewable Energy to Insulation and Countertops.  Just like our inaugural year, we have some really innovative products and solutions.

The combination of new building regulations, enhanced rebate programs for green building solutions, and a lower cost of building mean that green building products and services are in high demand. We at the GREEN LOG Awards are proud to help connect homebuilders with the companies who are leading the way.

Review, investigate, learn and vote for your favorite green building solution today!  Voting ends May 7th and results will be announced May 14th.

The nomination period for the 2009 GREEN LOG Awards has officially come to an end.  We are very excited about the list of nominees and the creative solutions that they represent.

Nominees will be introduced on the 16th of April, and voting will begin!  We anticipate anther great turnout for voting by the public.  We wish good luck to all of our nominees, but know that their solutions already help each of us “win” by reducing the carbon footprint of building homes.

Following an extremely successful premiere in 2008, the non-profit GREEN LOG Homes & Lifestyle Awards has announced the 2009 Call for Entries. The goal of the Green Log Awards is to recognize and shine a spotlight on the remarkable green building solutions which enable us to “Build a Greener World One Home at a Time.”

In that limelight, Green Log Awards would like to thank green bloggers and informational web sites for their meaningful roles in supporting public awareness and promoting public knowledge of the most noteworthy green solutions for a healthier home and lifestyle.

It is because of this important role that Green Log Awards, Inc. is officially inviting bloggers and other informational web sites to nominate their blogs / web sites for the 2009 Green Log Award.  There is no cost to enter or participate – this is Green Log Awards, Inc. way of saying thank you for an ongoing commitment to promoting knowledge and awareness surrounding the green endeavor.  Nominate your blog or web site and become part of this important, three-month public interest campaign  that will garner national attention and also earn a 12-month, 24/7 presence on the GREEN LOG Homes & Lifestyle Awards: http://www.greenlogawards.com/nominations/.

• Announce the awards program and Official Call for Entries (launched January 1, 2009)
