Shades of Green is a landscape architecture studio committed to promoting sustainable landscape practices through the creation of unique and innovative design solutions, integrating the landscape of humanity and nature for the benefit of both. We create designs with artistic and site-specific solutions by embracing both the natural and cultural contexts of the surrounding sites as well as any elements specific to the project site.

Sustain Dane *Finalist
The RainReserve™ diverter kit is designed to convert any barrel into a rain harvesting system for access to natural, untreated water. This allows the homeowner to obtain a barrel locally. The kits are designed using eco-friendly materials including bio-resin, recycled and recyclable plastics. The RainReserve™ diverter is the patented by Sustain Dane, a non-profit which receives proceeds from each kit sold to support their efforts.

The NEUTON Battery-Powered Lawn Mower is a powerful and lightweight lawn mower with the unique added capability of trimming and edging. It will run for about one hour on a single charge. The simple-to-use drop in battery pack can be recharged with less than 10 cents worth of electricity.
